The U.S. Coast Guard offloaded hundreds of narcotics in Miami, Florida, this week value an estimated $475 million.

Coast Guard crews seized about 24,700 kilos of cocaine and almost 3,900 kilos of marijuana on Thursday at Base Miami Seaside, the department mentioned in a press launch.

The crews interdicted the medication within the worldwide waters of the Caribbean Sea and the Jap Pacific Ocean.

“I’m pleased with the crew’s continued devotion to responsibility that made this offload potential,” Cdr. Jeremy M. Greenwood, commanding officer of Legare, mentioned within the launch.
